Useful information

Description

The goddess Mazu was worthy of a royal setting. A Ming prince therefore pledged his palace to her, making it the oldest temple dedicated to the goddess of the sea and sky. The superb Grand Mazu Temple (1664), remains one of the main places of worship of this divinity, who is among the most venerated in the Taiwanese pantheon.
