Description

Occupying a splendid house dating from the Edo period, Kato Kobei studio showcases works by this family of potters dating back seven generations. Of particular interest are the pieces by Kato Takuo, the father of the current owner, a true master of the art whose work was strongly inspired by Persian art. You can even try your hand at creating your own piece of pottery here!
