Description

On its maze of passages and stairways, busy vendors, clients in a hurry and disconcerted tourists have a hard time not running into each other. Lost in the maze, drawn by the smells and heaps of merchandise, you forget the rather unattractive aspect of some of the concrete buildings. In the fruit and vegetable section - very lively on Sundays - a small chapel stands as a reminder of the omnipresent Virgin of Guadalupe. Silversmiths and cobblers mix cheerfully in one area, where you may find the best bargains.
