Description
After nightfall is the best time to pay a visit to this district wedged in between Kabuki-cho and the Hanazono shrine. This pocket handkerchief-sized area is flanked by four lanes lined in bars. Sometimes piled one on top of the other, they rarely seat more than 10 people. For movie lovers, La Jetée bar is a tribute to the film of the same name by Chris Marker (1921-2012). An unforgettable experience.
