Description

The most beautiful townhouse in Toulouse houses Georges Bemberg's fine collection of artwork, including paintings, sculpture, furniture and other objets, dating from the Renaissance to the 20C. Exhibits include works by Venetian artists (vedute by Canaletto), Flemish and Dutch painters (Isenbrandt, Pieter de Hooch), a Renaissance portrait gallery, and artists from the French School during the transitional period from the 19C to the 20C, including Matisse, Gauguin, Monet, Vlaminck, Dufy and Bonnard,.
