Description

The Reserva Faunistica Punta Tombo (210ha), located on a narrow rocky strip projecting into the ocean, is home to one of the largest mainland colonies for the reproduction of Magellanic penguins, with more than 400 birds. These flightless seabirds come to the coast to nest and raise their young. Other species, including gulls and cormorants, also nest at Punto Tumbo. Visit between September and April.
