Description

Nicknamed the "Niagara of the West", Shoshone Falls, over 65m/213ft high, surpass their eastern cousins by a good 16m/52ft. It is in the spring, before the irrigation systems upstream kick in, that the massive 300m/984ft wall of water is at its most impressive, crashing down in a cloud of mist.
