Description

This museum, founded in 1982, is devoted to Balinese artistic heritage. On show are traditional Balinese paintings (wayang), work by the Young Artists, a 1960s movement inspired by Dutch painter Arie Smit, and also mythological pictures by Lempad, a 20C Balinese artist and architect. A section is devoted to contemporary, Indonesian and foreign artists who were inspired by Bali, and another showcases photos by Robert Koke.
