Description

Valencia's historic centre is one of Spain's largest and most important and bears witness to the city's growth in the 15C. On Plaza de la Reina stand the cathedral with its masterly Baroque façade, and the Basilica of Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados. Don't miss the Gothic Generalitat Palace, the Serrano Towers (vestiges of the city walls), the Exchange (La Lonja), the splendid Palace of the Marquis de Dos Aguas and the Corpus Christi royal seminary.
