Description
The pride and joy of Vancouver, Stanley Park (405ha/1,001 acres) enjoys a stunning site at the furthest tip of the peninsula almost closing the First Narrows. Relatively close to downtown Vancouver, the park offers huge expanses of greenery, long beaches and walks among giant trees, the remains of the primeval forest that used to cover the entire region. It is also the site of an aquarium, cricket pitches, tennis courts, shuffleboard, picnic areas and a swimming pool.
