Useful information

Description

Flanked by a distinctive polygonal tower, this Queen Anne-style house was built for Vancouver bookbinder Gustav Roedde and is thought to have been designed by Francis Rattenbury, the architect responsible for the Vancouver Art Gallery and the Empress Hotel in Victoria. The rooms open to the public are appointed with period furnishings. The property overlooks a Victorian garden complete with a small bandstand on one side and on the other, the delightful Barclay Heritage Square park.
