Description
Along with much of this district, the original building was destroyed by a fire in 1514 and later rebuilt by Scarpagnino in the 16C. Separated from the Grand Canal by an open space used for a vegetable market in the morning and occasionally for festive events in the evening, the Fabbriche Vecchie, like the Fabbriche Nuove, are built on a series of arcades now occupied by wine bars.
