Description

This elegant furnished house is, with Can Llopis in Sitges, the Museum of Romanticism. Built between 1790 and 1801 by the Papiol family, it reflects the mentality of rich 19C industrialists, who were both deeply religious and avid for material luxury. The library alone contains more than 5,000 books from the 16C-19C.
