Located to the south of the Quetrihué Peninsula, Los Arrayanes National Park is only accessible by boat, bike or foot. Founded in 1971 with the aim of protecting one of the world's two arrayan forests (the other is not open to visitors), this 1 753ha park boasts a well-marked footpath (800m, very easy) through its woods where you will discover the arrayán, an Andean species that bursts into lovely white blossom with the arrival of summer. Some of them are estimated to be 650 years old.
