Description
Not far from the capital, the limestone Batu caves are much more than magnificent natural grottoes. A sacred site for Hindus, the caves are accessed via a staircase with 272 steps at the foot of which stands a gilded statue. Don't miss the pilgrims' procession during Thaipusam.
