Description

This lovely street, named after the old leather craftsmen's guild, is the most noteworthy of Vitré. Each house merits careful inspection, such as No 5, which still has its exterior staircase, painted decor dating from the late 15C and its stall. At No 25 you will see a timber-framed house adorned with four sculpted heads; No 27 is decked in lion heads. Opposite, N°30 boasts a fine carved stone door.
