Wakulla Park (which means "mysterious water" in the local tongue) covers some 1,189ha of lush vegetation. It is home to one of the largest and deepest springs in the world, whose crystal-clear waters run into River Wakulla maintaining a constant 70°F/21°C temperature all year long. A boat trip along its shores will acquaint you with the wildlife, as will a hike along its paths - you can also go for a swim in part of the springs.
