Useful information

Description

Formerly a hunting ground adjacent to Ujazdowski Castle, Łazienki was bought in 1760 by Stanisław August Poniatowski, who converted the estate into a landscaped park. In fine weather, go in through the main entrance to the park and enjoy classical music concerts that are staged at the foot of the monument to Chopin. You will also be able to visit Belvedere Palace, formerly the presidential palace, the splendid palace on the island, which was a "bathing house" (łazienki), a botanical garden and an orangery.
