The Michelin Guide's review
The Waterton Lakes National Park, on the eastern face of the Rockies at the southwest corner of Alberta, is part of the International Peace Park created in 1932. The mountains sculpted by erosion and glaciation have formed sharp, jagged peaks, narrow ridges and meadows that buttress the rocky range. The souls of the First Nations Blackfoot bands can sometimes be felt wandering through this magical landscape.
