Description

The Neues Museum, a Renaissance Revival building, was constructed from 1863 to 1869 to house the Grand Ducal Museum. Headquarters of the local Nazi Party under the Third Reich, it has been restored to its original vocation, and holds numerous, often interesting, temporary exhibitions.
