The habitats and behavioral tendencies of grizzly bears and gray wolves are the focus of this educational facility. A pack of 7 wolves with a clear social hierarchy shares a den in one fenced enclosure. Nearby, nine grizzlies enjoy an enclosure with two ponds and a flowing stream. Released two or three at a time, the bears are encouraged to use their natural abilities tearing logs apart, digging up the earth and flipping rocks to forage for insects. An interpreter discusses behavior, from eating habits to intelligence and mating.
