This is a scenic drive along a sound divided into several arms by the peaks of the Long Range Mountains. The road travels westward along the South Arm from Glenburnie, offering splendid views of the bay. Fishing boats and small houses are set against the dark blue waters, framed by flat-topped mountains all around. Along the way, stop at Woody Point Discovery Centre to find out more about the site's geology and ecology. The austere Tablelands rise up not far away.
