Description
Schoodic Peninsula, opposite Mount Desert Island, is formed of huge flat pink granite slabs that stretch between the sea and a pine forest. The best view of this famous rocky ridge, part of the Acadia National Park, is from the Frenchman Bay Overlook belvedere.
