The collection of buildings features a modern working farm and a museum that charts rural life in Vermont in 1890. The restored farmstead (1890) is furnished with period pieces: note the earthenware tiles of the fireplaces and the basement dairy (daily presentations of butter making). Exhibitions devoted to the daily and seasonal occupations of a farming family in 19C Vermont take place in several barns.
