Description

Although there is no substitute for discovering rural South Korea for real, the Korean Folk Village is worth visiting for its vast reconstruction of traditional buildings (14C-19C) and their interiors. You can also see craftsmen at work and attend festivals and performances. While the site may sometimes seem to be more akin to a theme park than a tribute to rural life, it should be taken for what it is, an amusing portrait of rural Korea of yesteryear.
