Useful information

Description

Also called Tkalciceva or Potok (stream), since 1898 Ivan-Tkalcic Street runs along the former bed of the Medvešcak River and is lined with inviting café terraces. On the right is the statue of the country's first professional journalist, Marija Juric Zagorka (1873-1957). Nearby, a staircase facing old wooden houses leads to St Francis' Church on the right. While to the left, in Opatovina park, Prišlin tower is a vestige of the walls of the Episcopalian city of Kaptol.
