Description

This geometrically perfect 100 x 100m square, topped by the 52m-high town hall tower, attracts visitors like a magnet and commands a splendid view of the square. The geometric uniformity of its arcades and perfect grid pattern of its streets are most impressive, as are its blue and yellow hues, reminiscent of an Italian piazza. Note the exuberantly decorated Armenian houses, painted in unusual colours of ochre or violet. Rynek Wielki is lightyears from a museum-district and packed with life all day long.
