Located on a quiet street off Avenue des Gobelins, this contemporary restaurant with a minimalist decor – open kitchens, pale wood furniture, a few seats at the counter – is run by two young chefs trained at the Ferrandi hospitality school. At lunchtime, they cook up simple fare at unbeatable prices: traditional Lyonnais cervelle de canut (fromage frais dip), grapes and croutons; grilled pork loin, sauce diable and mashed potatoes; vanilla crème brûlée. In the evening, small plates to share: Alsace spaetzle with peas and onion consommé, sea bream carpaccio with za'atar and pomegranate, lamb shoulder pastilla confit with pepper condiment and fresh herbs.
