The Michelin Guide's review
The town hall occupies three adjacent buildings: the seat of the Great Council Hall, the Aldermen's House (Schepenhuis) and the Post Office (Postbegouw). The first, built in the Flamboyant style, was begun in the early 16C and completed in the early 20C. The central façade with turrets is that of the unfinished belfry (14C). Like the Schepenhuis, the former Cloth Hall dates from the 14C.
