The Michelin Guide's review
Still the site of numerous lively food and grocery stores and restaurants, some of which date back to the first half of the 19C, Rue Montorgueil also boasts some old houses, whose interesting facades (nos 15, 17, 23 et 25) are adorned with wrought iron. At no 51, Stohrer's pastry shop, founded in 1730, is one of the district's iconic landmarks. The street is at its best and busiest on Saturdays and Sunday mornings, which are market days.
