Description
Set in the heart of the bush, this kangaroo sanctuary is the work of Chris Barns, nicknamed Brolga. This Crocodile Dundee-like character has made it his mission to save orphaned baby kangaroos. For years, he has been rescuing the joeys found in the pouches of females hit by vehicles and giving them a second chance at life. Tours are run at nightfall, allowing visitors to get as close as possible to the kangaroos when they are at their most active.
