Description

This vast arts centre in Alice Springs has four galleries dedicated to Aboriginal art. One room is devoted exclusively to Albert Namatjira, one of the country's most famous painters, known for his depictions of the MacDonnell Ranges. In the inner courtyard, in the middle of the Sculpture Garden, you will find the Corkwood Tree, a 300-year-old sacred tree around which the buildings are organised.
