Description

Skakavac is Bosnian for "grasshopper"... it is also the name given to the highest (98m) and one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A real tourist attraction, located on Mt Bukovik, 13km from the centre of Sarajevo, the place remains a vision of untamed nature. From here, you can enjoy an incredible view of Sarajevo and the hills around it. The great abundance of fauna and flora in these parts makes for unforgettable walks.
