Description

The centre is organised around the New York State Capitol, an imposing Romanesque Revival and neo-Renaissance building (1899). Next door, the buildings of the Empire State Plaza date from 1965-76, as do the 90 sculptures scattered throughout the neighbourhood. You may also be surprised by The Egg or the New York State Education Department building (1912). For an overview, the Corning Tower Observation Deck is a must!
