Useful information

Description

Bellevue, a mansion built in 1777 in the neo-Classical style, was formerly a luxury hotel, then incorporated into the Royal Palace as a residence for Princess Clémentine, daughter of Léopold II. Today, it houses two museums, where visitors can learn about Belgian history from 1830 to the present day. The museum also gives access to the Coudenberg archaeological site, where a ducal palace stood until its destruction by fire in 1731.
