Description

The Boulart factory - which housed 80 tulle and lace looms until the early 20C - has been extended by an astonishing steel and glass structure, (architects Moatti and Rivière), featuring screen print motifs based on Jacquard templates. The museum links the past and the future, presenting both manually produced lacework and contemporary fashion creations.
