Description

The square tower of this late-15C fortified residence has a Gothic staircase in Limousin granite terminating in an arch. A secret stairway continues above the arch into a small room called the Virgins' chamber. The rooms of the château are appointed with fine 16C-18C antiques. The outhouses are home to the Petit Monde des Automates with 70 automated figures that provide a musical background to various sets: Turkey, Africa, England, France...
