Useful information

Description

This museum housed in the mansion of the naturalist Henri Lecoq (1802-71) has reconstructed his office and study. It presents local man, Blaise Pascal, his life and research, including his Pascaline or arithmetic machine, a precursor of our calculators. You will also see a section dedicated to Louis Pasteur, a fascinating phylogenetic tree, a fairly comprehensive botanical collection, rocks, stuffed animals and dioramas illustrating local natural habitats.
