Isle of Man

Useful information

Description

The mountainous Isle of Man in the Irish Sea is a British dependency governed by its own laws. From the top of Snaefell (620 m), you can admire the characteristic lowland scenery of dry-stone walls and high mounds. The marvellously unspoiled coast is ideal for walks and swims in the sea, protected by the Gulf Stream and lined with pleasant beaches. Then return to the capital, Douglas, possibly on board a toastrack, horse-drawn tram typical of the island.
