Description

Mount Orlando (171m) is a regional park where characteristic Mediterranean habitats and a few monumental ruins are preserved. This is the case of the huge mausoleum of Roman consul Lucius Munatius Plancus, who was one of Cesar's comrades-in-arms and who founded the colonies of Lugdunum (now Lyon), Augusta Raurica (now Augst, near Basel).
