Situated below the archaeology museum, after the last tunnel, this cave owes its name to a misadventure of Emperor Tiberius. It was thanks to this cave, where he often held banquets in very hot weather, that the emperor narrowly escaped death when part of the ceiling caved in and rocks rained down.
