Useful information

Description

Behind the courthouse is this handsome red-brick Classical edifice. Dating from the late 18C, it has a fine wrought-iron gate. The castle, residence of the governor of Northern Ireland from 1924 to 1973, is now a royal residence: HRH Queen Elizabeth and the royal family stay here when visiting the region.
