This Regional Museum provides information on local customs, including major festivals (such as the Wan Sart Festival, dedicated to the banana, which takes place in late September/early October), traditional and religious buildings (in particular, techniques used for building chedi), and the different ethnic minorities which inhabit the region of Kamphaeng Phet, such as the Hmongs and Karens. The museum is housed in typical wooden houses on stilts.
