Inaugurated in 1806, the yellow ochre Great Church was built in the late Baroque style. Two plaques can be seen on the façade, one of which commemorates the victims of the 1848-1849 War of Independence. The other pays tribute to a famous regiment of WWI. Some 94 steps will enable the most energetic to climb to the top of the clock tower (74m), home to a bell weighing 2.4 tons.
