Jin Ding means "golden summit". The view from this terrace at an altitude of 3,075m/10,088ft is almost head-spinning. Oceans of clouds float just over your head or lie at your feet, blanketing the valleys in thick mist. This magical scene is improbably dominated by a multi-headed golden statue of Puxian riding elephants. Erected in 2006, the statue is 48m/157ft high.
