Description

Few edifices have withstood the various earthquakes that have shaken the city over the centuries, as well as the church and convent of San Francisco, masterpieces of the late-16C colonial era. You will be amazed by the intricate carving of the church's stone façade and by its Mudejar-style interior and the azulejos tiling in the main cloister. In a completely different register, explore the impressive catacombs, discovered in the 20C, in the company of a guide.
