Useful information

Description

The current church, which is the 3rd church on the site, delimits the boundary of the Priory of Augustin of St Trinity, dissolved in 1539. The lower part of the stone corner tower dates from the late 15C and the upper section from the 16C, and is crowned by white small columns and a parapet. Note the alabaster baptismal fonts from the 17C, the pulpit and alter from the 18C and the effigy of Throgmorton (1571) in the Laud Chapel.
