Useful information

Description

Begun in 1717 as a focal point to the north of Oxford Street, Cavendish Square, its gardens planted with majestic plane trees, still retains some old buildings. Two Palladian-style houses are located on the north side (from n°11 to n°14) and date from the 1770s. Among the other 18C and 19C houses, n°5 was occupied in 1787 by Nelson, and a century later by Qunitin Hogg who died in 1903.
