Description

The name Gadagne comes from powerful Florentine bankers, the Guadagni, who, from 1535 to 1581, occupied what is nowadays the largest group of Renaissance buildings in historic Lyon. The Musée d'Histoire de Lyon and the Musée des Marionnettes du Monde provide an opportunity to discover the splendours of this architectural jewel, notably in four 16C-17C rooms, whose interior has been faithfully restored.
