Description

This superb collection of puppets (rod, string, hand and shadow) from France, Belgium, Holland, Venice, Turkey, Russia, England and the Far East highlights the incredible variety of this art form. Guignol and several other characters created by Laurent Mourguet are also on display. If you speak some French, make sure you listen to the Lyonnais accent of the puppeteer Jean-Guy Mourguet on the audioguide.
